My favourite fad food: the matcha croffle

Look. I know. I’m not exactly proud of this. I also wish I had a more sophisticated taste in desserts. That being said, a croissant put through a waffle maker topped with matcha-flavoured pastry cream is technically fusion cuisine, right?

My favourite video game: Hades 2

I loved the original despite being absolutely terrible at it. I think the sequel is even better and am possibly even worse at playing it. Perhaps I’m unduly influenced by the fact that I can have pets in this one?

The runner up is Balatro — a game I think my mom would love.

Favourite way to make tomato sauce

Pour a jar of passata, some olive oil, some maple syrup, a diced onion, and a pinch of salt into an electric pressure cooker. Pressure cook on high for an hour. Release pressure and add some butter to taste.
